You got to love oats! Wrestlers and Bodybuilders love oats coz its one of those ancient foods that helps burn fat. It has the perfect balance of calories and is one fueling grain that goes the long haul and keeps you fuller.
The biggest … most awesome reason for you the FITNESS WARRIOR is the boosting of testosterone, yup the hormone that builds muscles.
AND LADIES, testosterone is your best friend for trimming those hips. I like to eat my oats the traditional way- a little milk, bring it to a boil, sweeten it and load it with nuts and fruits, or a dash of spices, herbs and a little oil to make it into a spicy relish.
You could oats idlis, cinnamon and lemon together with apples and an added crunch of oats. This sweet delight will crumble in your mouth and melt deep into your senses. Bang together oat flour and ragi flour to make a Ladoo!
Granola bars are super healthy and can easily kill those untimely cravings. Mix up 2-3 tablespoons of cooked dried oats along with your favourite nuts, honey and butter.
If you’re not working out, get an OATMEAL snack around 5 pm when you get that hunger craving. It’s the best filler to prevent you from eating any junk. Add a handful of nuts and berries. Don’t worry, this has to be the healthiest way at 5 pm to keep you away from those greasy, sugary, spicy unhealthy snacks.
