The latest installment of Thor sheds a new light on old characters.
While he may be a God, it seems like all Thor really needed was to be humanized a little further – which is precisely what ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ succeeds in doing. While the Marvel Cinematic Universe has already established Thor as an action-hero in his own right, they push the envelope further by letting the character breathe, joke around and laugh. Perhaps what makes ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ so endearing is its uses of humour, which perfectly compliments and contrast the action-packed sequences and lets audiences experience the chemistry between characters like Thor and The Hulk or even Thor and Loki.
While the plot of the movie may be apparent from the movie trailers, what really makes the movie fun to watch is the journey of the characters and the story. ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ reinvents Thor as a funny and self-aware thunder-God who just wants to save his home planet. What this results in is an amazing ride from start to finish that you’d love to be a part of.
The movie experience was made better by the amazing INOX Cinema halls that ensured that the movie was an immersive and enjoyable experience and The Entertainment Store, who ensured that the mood was perfect with their amazing merchandise. ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ is easily one of the best movies to emerge from the Marvel Cinematic Universe to date and is a must watch for all super-hero fans.
