Here’s the low down of the CMA’s 2016
Right from Beyoncé’s sizzling moves to Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley’s jokes, CMAs 2016 was certainly a grand affair.
Once fans got a whiff of the Single Ladies singer’s surprise, everyone was on high alert to see what Queen B was going to pull off, and as expected, she definitely delivered.
In a dazzling, long-sleeve mermaid gown in lace with beads and crystals that left little to the imagination, Bey made her country debut by getting the crowd going with her Lemonade country-inspired track “Daddy Lessons” alongside country greats Dixie Chicks.

But no one was prepared to see the one and only Matthew McConaughey dance along from his seat in the Bridgestone Arena.
Plenty of election jokes were made during the opening skit, but Paisley really got the crowd laughing when he called Carrie Underwood a liar.
She began, “Speaking of, we’re joined by all of this year’s nominees for entertainer of the year. Like our buddy, Keith Urban.”

Brad interrupted her, yelling, “Wrong!” as Carrie continued, “Also nominated, Luke Bryan and Chris Stapleton.”
The country crooner stopped her again, “Lies! Crooked Carrie!” to which she responded, “Crooked Carrie? And Mrs. Yearwood, Garth Brooks.”
The laughter didn’t cease as Brad continued, “That’s true. But one more nominee for Entertainer of the Year. I’ve been standing next to this wonderful person for a long time now. I love all you guys, but #I’mWithCarrie.”
The highlight of the night was when stars came through to honor the legendary country musician, Dolly Parton with the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award. Take a look
