Philanthropist, musician, lyricist, photographer, and a year younger! Bryan Adams turns 57 today!
For over 3 decades, this Canadian rock star has set pulses racing and passions soaring with his music. Be it mellow romantic numbers like ‘Have you ever really loved a woman’ or unforgettable guitar riffs from ‘Summer of ’69’, Adams has left an indelible mark in the world of music.
What’s remarkable about Adams is his ability to reinvent himself for two generations of concert goers. Importantly, over the past decade, Adams’ work has stretched beyond the world of music. The Bryan Adams Foundation, which is largely funded by Adams himself, focusses on providing education opportunities for children around the world. Adams is also a vegan, who has campaigned for animal rights for over 30 years.
But what many fans might not know is that Adams is an accomplished photographer too. Last year, he was given an Honorary Fellowship of the Royal Photographic Society for his work in photography. And he has been published across several major magazines.
Here’s wishing Adams the very best as he embarks on another trip across the Sun! We remain a (mad) fan.
