‘Race didn’t matter. Age didn’t matter. And she married a prince’
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tied the knot and they exchanged vows on the 19th of May, 2018. It was a perfect blend of two cultures and the audiences around the world was in millions; many at the venue and people all over the world watching the wedding stream live from the Windsor Castle on tv and online.
There was a dress code for men … ‘Morning Coat or Lounge Suit’ and women ‘Day Dress and a Hat’; yes something traditional. Others had arrived at the grounds of Windsor Castle early in the morning to get a glimpse of the numerous celebrities making their way in. Then the members of the Royal Family, The Queen, Duke of Edinburgh and many others made their appearance. Harry and Meghan though, broke away from the usual royal traditions and held hands, which is not the usual.
Meghan looked dashing in a 16 feet long dress which was embroided with 55 flowers which represented each country of the Commonwealth. She read an emotional poem confessing her love for Harry which had many in moist eyes.
Princess Diana was’nt forgotten thru the wedding. In many instances, tributes we paid to the late Princess. Harry personally handpicked flowers from the garden for Meghan which were Diana’s favorite; sweet noe !! At the moment, both have similar taste in fashion and a thirst for charity. Some say this was a match made from heaven .. and certainly #Royal !!
