Indigo 91.9 FM has been awarded by the Limca Book of Records.
We’ve received some fantastic news today! Indigo 91.9 FM has been awarded by the Limca Book of Records for our World Music Day performance last year. It’s truly amazing since the performance only took place for us to express our love for music have some fun while we were at it!
It all went down on June 21st, 2016, as our very own Indigo 91.9 FM RJs put up a show at the Indigo Live Music Bar. For the first time ever, RJs and the team from a radio station formed a band to perform live in front of an audience. The Indigo 91.9 FM RJs also took turns hosting this memorable 1-hour show. The performance included renditions of popular songs from every decade since the 60’s, ending with RJ Nathan and RJ Michelle performing a quirky rendition of ‘Free Falling’ by Tom Petty, retitled ‘Keep Talking’. The crowd had a fabulous time and so did the Indigo 91.9 FM team!
While we never intended to get this award, we’re still ecstatic! After all, not everyone gets to win awards for one-off music performances!
