Tonight’s Super Moon will be the largest in 70 years! To celebrate this once in a lifetime event, the Bangalore Argentine Tango dance group is organising a Milonga that’s open to all.

What’s a Milonga? Any place or event where the tango is danced to, is called a Milonga. And this time, it’s under the moon when it appears super huge!
It’s really quite simple, the moon appearing super huge happens when a full moon in closest to Earth. And this time the moon will appear 30% brighter and 14% bigger. More magic, no cost.
Turns out that ‘super moon’ is just a colloquial term we all use, but the real scientific name is ‘perigee-syzygy’.
And if you ever wanted to dance in an open free space under the moonlight tonight is the best chance you have in 70 years. Sky watchers across the globe are preparing for the latest supermoon as Earth’s satellite makes its closest approach since 1948. Yep, the last one was on January 26, 1948 and the next one will be on November 25, 2034.
