How do you eat the right amounts of the right foods?
Ryan says he personally believes that all foods are good for the body. Most are not harmful. Its the amount of food you eat that is the key to healing or harming you.
Bananas, everyone loves them! But if you eat a truckload of bananas, they are going to harm you, not to mention it’ll make you do a Fitness hour running set to the bathroom.
So what is a portion? Well, #NutritionCoachRyan says..
‘EAT TO YOUR HEARTS CONTENT.’
YUP you heard me right eat – to your hearts content. What’s the size of your heart? Well close your fist? Look at your Fist. Yup that’s your heart size and basically eating to your hearts content is a fist portion serving.
So as you go thru your day, hover your fist over your plate. Choose your foods wisely.
MORE FIST SERVINGS in the day for fruits and Vegetables – yes – 5 to 8 fist portions of fruits and vegetables. Everything else limit it!
If you want to gain weight, increase your fist portion per meal. If you want to lose weight, drop your fist serving! Try this for a week and watch yourself become aware of the portions. This is a start to a young fit YOU!
Quick Tip :
Before your morning workouts, have a bowl of strawberries or a guava.
